Ricardo Paula was born on December 16, 1964 in Angola.

Designer, early devoted himself to painting as a way of expression. Exhibits individually since 1982, represented by the MAC - Contemporary Art movement which has presented several exhibitions since 1995.

Possessed of an unmistakable style, his work is a unique view of the world, of beings, of things, of the human condition. Exposes collectively since 1983 in various national and international biennials in institutional and private spaces: Art95 in New York, Hicetnunc / Fax Art in Italy (1995), "Artits for Humanitarian Aid" in the Echo-Royal Tropical Institute in Amsterdam (1997) "Voices d'artistes" in Lausanne in Switzerland (1998), Embassy of the Cultural Center of Portugal in Cape Verde (2000), among others of equal importance. Integrated Parallel Group as guest artist in the exhibition of the Church of St. Francis in Palmela Castle.
