Júlio Pomar (Lisbon, 1926 -) is a Portuguese painter. He belongs to the 3rd generation of Portuguese modernist painters.

Celebrated by many as "the most immediately talented painter of his generation and the brightest of neorealism of cultivators, Júlio Pomar is referenced in all exhibitions and publications where it takes stock of the art in Portugal since World War II . Its prominent position in the context of the 1940s and 1950s is consensual, but the affirmation of his work is not limited to this early period.
