Born in 1959 in Angola. In 1976 he went to Brazil where he lived about 20 years. After four years he lived in Germany, having recently returned to Portugal.

He made secondary education in Luanda and attended architecture in Rio de Janeiro, having started his professional activity of projects designer and interior decorator.

At the same time he participated in Marisa Guerra painting atelier.

Since 1980 works almost exclusively to painting but also did book illustrations, magazines, album covers, etc.

Held 25 solo exhibitions in Portugal, France, Germany and Brazil.

He won several awards which highlights the 1st prize and Merit Work on the 1st International Exhibition of Art Portimão and also the Trophy 1st Prize and Honorable Mention in the XIII Hall Art Itatiaia - Rio de Janeiro.
